Web Content Administrator

The Philadelphia office of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, an international law firm with some 1300 attorneys in 22 offices, is currently seeking a Web Content Administrator to join our Marketing & Communications Department. The Marketing & Communications Department at Morgan Lewis is charged with enhancing the firm’s presence and reputation both internally and externally.
Our team ensures that each message the firm delivers is consistent and coherent. The Web Content Administrator will be a key member of the firm’s communications team.

The individual will report to the Assistant Director of Web & Digital Brand Communications and will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, auditing, and publishing of approved content to the firm’s websites using a custom content management system (CMS). The Web Content Administrator must be able to work independently and to coordinate directly with team members inside and outside the department, including with attorneys at various levels, with minimal supervision.

The position requires exceptional attention to detail, the ability to adapt to change and balance competing demands, and the flexibility to manage demands outside of traditional business hours. Strong organization and communication skills are essential.

The Web Content Administrator is primarily responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the firm’s external websites and microsites, using the firm’s custom content management system (CMS) and other tools. This individual works with the Marketing & Communications, Business Development, Human Resources, and other departments to publish and update firm-approved web content while ensuring that quality standards and deadlines are met. In addition, the Web Content Administrator performs a variety of research, testing, and administrative tasks in support of web development and marketing efforts including analyzing reports on web activity and performance metrics.

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Communications, Marketing, English, or a related discipline, and a minimum of three years of relevant experience in a large organization with dedicated responsibilities associated with website maintenance or development. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Prior law firm experience is a plus.

Experience with content management systems and database-driven websites is required. A working knowledge of HTML, CSS and WordPress is also required, as is experience with standard web development tools. Candidates must be proficient in the use of Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite (in particular, Dreamweaver, Acrobat, and Photoshop) and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with WebTrends, Illustrator, Flash, and other multimedia tools is also a plus.
